Beijing Youth
The Fall Winter 2018 Collection explored the 90s subculture of the Beijing Youth depicted in Director Yuan Zhang cult film, Beijing Bastards. For this issue of UOOYAA ZINE, we took portraits of many local faces in Beijing through which we experienced the never changing power of this city.
Taking a broader view, the ZINE features people from further afield who share a similar spirit worldwide. In giving an outlet for their stories, we aim to refresh old stereotypes and showcase the diversity of UOOYAA.
